I don't think so, from what Andrew said I gather it's just the soundtrack. I'd rather have that than a backpack anyway.
 
The soundtrack was with limited edition box #3 in R1, along with volume 1 of the Gurren Lagann manga.

I think R1 still gets better special editions & better prices, but we are a smaller market in the UK so it is to be expected.
 
Don't remember ever hearing that. It was a Bandai title after all, and it's incredibly rare for Bandai titles to go to anyone else, if ever. The only examples I can think of are Akira and the GitS franchise (Akira was one of Manga's ancient licences, and GitS was a joint release between Bandai and Manga, if I remember rightly).

Could you be thinking of ADV, who I believe had the US rights for Lagann until things went south?

As said before - it's always been a Beez title there :). Bandai Entertainment and ourselves decided to work together with Starz to place it on TV and digital distribution. That resulted in GL and 00 on SyFy/Sci-Fi in the US and here just digitally.

Hope that clarifies that ^^.

FYI for those curious the horizontal image on the back of the case is Viral on this release!

Oh right. that's where the confusion was. Shame I could never get that to work for me, all I could find were the trailers at Manga.co.uk. and was region blocked at .com. Not very useful. :roll:
 
Trailers/Openings/Clips are up, if anyone wants to post further images of these releases i.e. back of the box covers, the DVD itself, images of it's reverse cover if it has it, inserts or other extras please do so.
