My copy of Roujin-Z on blu arrived from HMV yesterday - not sure if I'm too struck with the thinpack style blu-ray case though. I've got Broken Blade on on order with HMV too, but no dispatch yet - anyone get theirs yet?

The Roujin Z case is, I think, slightly thinner than the American Blu-ray cases. Good for shelf space, if nothing else. But damn that incorrectly orientated title on the spine...
It's a good release. Fantastic clean transfer and nice small-ish white subtitles. Unfortunately you can't change audio on the fly, while the subtitles are locked on the Japanese track and can't be selected for the dub. Not a massive issue for me personally, but I know it bothers some and being told NO YOU CAN'T DO THIS OR THAT WITH THIS DISC YOU BOUGHT is kind of annoying on principle.
Anyone know who drew the rendition of Haruko on the back of the cover? Me likey. EDIT: Toshikazu Eguchi, apparently, though a quick Google reveals nothing of his work. The illustration is taken from the remastered JP DVD and it's a much better cover IMO (attractive young lady > old fella in a chair).

im sure there prices will go down soon cause fairy tail dvds cant be that expensive, just give it a week or two
