New Anime Announced + 4Kids Information

xxxHolic has been given the go ahead for a second season, and Ah My Goddess is having a special done for it to commemorate the manga artist Kousuke Fujishima's 20th Anniversary of the manga. The show will be entitled: "Ah! My Goddess: Fighting Wings".

4Kids reports a 28% loss in revenue for Q2 2007. Although a stock analyst says the loss is 'forgettable', he also recommends investors to turn their attention to other childrens markets, such as Hasbro and Mattel.
So that's brilliant news : D. Crash and burn 4Kids, crash and burn!
If that does ever happen I think it would mean the One Piece license would be up for grabs, which gives Funimation to get the first 144 episodes, although it might be Viz who have the license. This is all good news anyway.

Hmm, unfortunatly, if 4-Kids crash and burn, all those voice actors could end up with Funimation or ADV. At least at 4-kids all the crap voice actors are kept in one place out of harms way. ( Relativly speaking. ) :D

All joking aside, I really wouldn't mourn 4-kids if they were to suddenly vanish up their own bottom. :?

Even so, 4Kids are the ones to do the work on One Piece, I guess they'll either hold onto the license for the sake of it... hopefully sell it to Funimation... or do their own version, uncut, but who knows.

I dunno about that. There is some really bad casting and direction. Really those are the exceptions rather than the rule.
