Hey guys was wondering where I could get Rurouni Kenshin Season 1 boxset from. I don't want to get nailed on import tax or anything like that so amazon is out of the question. I know Media Blasters are in trouble so the boxset will be hard to find. United Publications don't have it so I guess I am looking for a uk website to buy it from. Any help would be greatly accperiated!
 
United Publications don't have it in stock, but they should be able to get it for you. You'll have a bigger problem getting the season 2 set, assuming you want it, as that's out of print.
 
Otaku seem to think they can get it, might be worth sending them an email. If you're only avoiding Amazon US due to import tax, you can pick a seller where they are using Amazon Fulfilment or buy from Amazon direct (if they have it) and pick the slightly more expensive shipping options. They will show an extra charge in your total if you do it right, which covers import duties in advance - meaning you don't have to pay the extortionate Royal Mail penalty charge on arrival and there are no nasty surprises. They often part-refund if their estimated import taxes end up lower than they charged you too. And it's faster. It's a good system.

Ok so I have found the hard to find second season on play.com if anyone is interested. I know that one is the out of print one. Thought I would that in case anyone is looking for it around 35 pounds.
