Last year, MVM Entertainment surprised a lot of people by announcing their plans to release Aniplex and SHAFT's <em>Monogatari</em> franchise in the United Kingdom, not only on DVD, but on the high definition blu-ray format as well. <em>Bakemonogatari</em> was released across two volumes last year, followed by <em>Nisemonogatari</em>.
Today, the distributor went to Twitter to announce that they will be also releasing the <em>Nekomonogatari</em> series in the United Kingdom in August.
Directed by Akiyuki Shinbo (<em>Puella Magi Madoka Magica</em>, <em>Nisekoi</em>), SHAFT's <em>Monogatari</em> franchise is adapted from a series of light novels written by Nisio Ishin (<em>Death Note Another Note: The Los Angeles B.B. Murder Cases</em>). The most recent title in the franchise, <em>Monogatari Second Season</em> aired in Japan from July-December last year.
