When Muse were asked to mime a song on an Italian TV show, just look at the results:

For those who don't know the band, the drummer and lead singer have swapped places with amusing consequences. They even keep up the act throughout the interview that follows. Apparently they've done this before, but it's the first I've heard of it.
 
Yeah found it hilarious but its true that it hasn't been the first time:

If anyone can remember the old Live and Kicking kid show back then, Muse mimed New Born which was amazingly funny:

Another video was when they mimed Sing for Absolution on CD:UK although I can't find the video for that one.

Still producers should learn never let Muse mime.

I also like to say that The Resistance is a very good album.
 
Both videos are excellent :)

If I'd seen that kind of thing from one of the bands I know well I'd probably have laughed for hours.
