Just found out that Viz Media hold the DVD rights to Monster, think this just covers the US but hopefully if it does get released there we will get it too.

This has been know about for years.

All it means is that Viz are shopping around the license, which means they have no immediate plans to release it.

I can't see it changing in the future either. Viz are concentrating solely on known winners, i.e Naruto/Bleach/Death Note.
