Volunteer for the Cultural Exchange Between Species Act this July!

Ever since Seven Seas Entertainment first started releasing Okayado's Monster Musume manga in late 2013, the monster-themed ecchi harem series has consistently topped the New York Times best-selling manga list with each subsequent volume and now, the Cultural Exchange Between Species Act will be amended to apply to anime this summer, following confirmation that a Monster Musume anime adaptation will be making its debut this July!

In the world of Okayado's seinen series, the world has only just learned that creatures once believed to be confined to mythology are real, so the "Cultural Exchange Between Species Act" is passed to try and assist all manners of monsters with assimilating into society. There is one strict condition though: interspecies breeding is expressly forbidden.

You might expect that this wouldn't normally be a problem but when the Kurusu Kimihito finds himself living with the overly attached half-human half-snake Miia, the undeniably cute harpy Papi and the sexy centaur Cerea, this teenage boy will certainly have a tough time keeping his animalistic urges in control!

It was bound to happen eventually, considering how well the manga seems to be doing. However, spiders will never be sexy:

If they stream this in the west it'll probably be even more censored than Testament of Sister New Devil was...

Its very much a take my money scenario for when the blu-rays come out...

I daresay watching it censored wouldn't be much fun though the whole screen would be obscured heh...

Absolutely. I gather it's already an extremely strong seller - so this will only boost it further.
Volumes 1-5 debuted at #1 on the New York Times Manga Best Seller's List on release if I remember correctly.

surprised they haven't put the volumes on Kindle as you'd think this might be the kind of series people would be nervous about buying physically/having copies of lying around...

I remember when I was in town with a female friend of mine once and we popped into Waterstones. I picked up a copy of the first volume and for a laugh, I joked that I bet I could open a random page and find something risqué. I did.
I thought "Just a case of bad luck, I bet not every page is like tha-", then I opened another random page.

Luckily she has a good sense of humour about this kind of thing :p. I should check the series out though.
