Hi.

My favourie anime movie is Mind Game: http://www.anime-planet.com/anime/mind-game

I read on Anime World Order podcast that a Region 2 DVD was released even though no Region 1 version was available. Can anyone think of where I might be able to find this? Neither amazon.co.uk/.com nor play.com offer this.

I would be eternally grateful if someone is actually able to substantiate this with some link.

You, good sir, are a demi-god. My immortal thanks goes to you!

But yikes, £34.99. I shoudl be able to afford it by the end of the year. Chrismas pressie for myself, yay!!!

I've wondered for a couple of other things, too, are Madman easy enough to order from?

I grabbed their Macross DVD set a while back and it was easy. It actually arrived horrifyingly quickly - I think it took less than a week. It was over the customs limit and I didn't get hit, though this may have been luck.

On my sample of one order it was just shy of £6 for a 3 DVD box set, which I found acceptable if not fantastic.

R4 Macross? Might I ask how the Japanese audio track sounded? One presumes it cannot be worse than that of most recent R1 release.

I suspect it's the same, but unfortunately I have very poor hearing. If there's a particular part you'd like me to check let me know!

Mind Game is a superb Studio 4C movie. Seriously, seriously glorious. It's not well-known because everyone else is watching fanservice.
