Quite simply, Minami is the most fun anime convention in the UK.

You know how the most fun at the Expo meet was at the hotel room? Well, Minami is hosted in a hotel, so to enjoy the con you only have to walk downstairs. ^_^ Minami 12 had a cosplay cafe with plushies, super sumo suits, whack-a-Pokémon Pinata, a spoof game show (which I missed), cosplay masquerade, games room, & stuff! You don't even have to set foot outside!

Best UK convention.

Cool will be going to this one..... as long as I am not working like I have been stuck doing for every event this year.... dammit sometimes being a contractor sucks

Amecon and Ayacon, the two largest conventions in the UK - in Leicester and Coventry respectively. Then there's Auchinawa, to be held latest this year in Glasgow.

I'm signed up for Minami btw. :)
 
Almost 200 of the places were already taken by people who went this year & registered for next year before they left. Myself included. ^_^

Even if you don't register, you can still stay at the hotel & get half of the atmosphere, & can try sneaking in places. XD Get caught? Just say "bollocks, I left my badge in my room" & don't try that same place again for awhile. If you're with friends who are registered, you could get them to pick up things for you in the dealer room.
