People do do that. But so what, if people are crazy enough to pay insane amounts for a signed piece of gaming paraphernalia on ebay that's their choice, isn't it? I auctioned my signed MGS artbook (as well as my signed Shenmue :!: ) for charity last year, so it's not all bad.
