Media Week discuss RaptureTV

For those interested in following the progress of new UK TV channel RaptureTV (recently confirmed to be showing Wolf's Rain and another as yet unnamed anime series) <a href="http://www.mediaweek.co.uk/news/index.cfm?fuseaction=details&nNewsID=519015">this new article</a> about the channel was recently posted on Media Week.

Rapture's gearing up for launch, nothing new, and like all media they are acting confident. One hopes that their new run will last; Wolf's Rain, as I've said over and over again, is too good for those who haven't seen it to miss, and if it is sucessful it could encourage more channels to to take a risk with anime.

I wish. According to the Media Guardian the channel is planning to relaunch in January and that Rapture are claiming Sky is responsible for the delay. Hopefully the launch date will not slip further.

The Media Guardian article is a few weeks old and is actually incorrect now - Rapture will launch on the 14th of November.

This is confirmed in the recent press release regarding Wolf's Rain.
