It's been a fair few months since our last instalment, but finally the May edition of our Great Unwashed Anime series of articles has been published. This time around we take a look at 4 new unlicensed (out of the Japan) anime shows, from the mystical magic of Mushishi to the hellish techno-horror of Jigoku Shoujo (Hell Girl).

Cant help but think (with the exception of Mushishi) that there are titles more deserving of being put on that list.

*goes off to acquire Comedy* I knew there was something I forgot about . Never heard of Kogepan but Mushishi and Jigoku Shoujo are good, just wish JS would get subbed faster.

I liked the first episode of Jigoku Shoujo but then it got way too formulaic, same thing happened every episode but with different circumstances *yawn* no thanks.

We don't sit around in a commitee deciding what to feature, rather we just individually come up with whatever we enjoy. And this is the great unwashed anime, so it's better when throw in a few curve balls that even the hardend fansub addicts are yet to sample ;)

I'm watching Mushishi at the minute, it's as good as I heard it was, the care and attention put into just about everything in each episode is great to see

Like Necromancer I'd also like to see Jigoku Shoujo get subbed a lil faster, I don't tend to watch a show until I have all the eps!
