Manga's Christmas Podcast

I didn't really know what to ask, so I just asked about a bunch of titles which I'd like to see come over/my friends like (most of which I own) to see if we can get any information about a UK release from Manga or anyone else, or even what the plans are stateside (e.g. Akito/Arise).

Three hours is rather short notice though, even for Manga.
 
If I did ask questions, I would have asked about licensing Mushishi, Green Jacket Lupin III and FMA original series, as well as a relicense of Mad Bull 34, Golgo 13: The Professional, Wings of Honneamise and the original unmolested print of the GITS movie, but eh, was a bit too late.

They've already said the original FMA is in license limbo anyway. Japan isn't letting them license it.
 
Could see Manga re-releasing The Professional, assuming Jonathan Clements assertion was accurate and one of their higher-ups is a fan of the film, but I'd think Mad Bull is unlikely and I can't imagine they'd take a chance on the Lupin series. Even if Fujiko Mine does well for them, I don't think older shows figure in their business model anymore.

I'm pretty sure FUNimation still holds the UK license to that one. The only stool titles to return are ones that MVM managed to wrest back - Kiddy Grade and Fruits Basket (was there a third? I forget).

I guess xmas podcast probably means it'll go up on the 25th? For some reason I expected this to be out by now rather than really waiting for Christmas.
