One of my favourite authors - Ebine Yamaji.

Personally i'd like all of her Manga liscensed and published in the Uk... The French have it, but not us.

Anybody else?

:D YKK Thirded!

I'd also like to see all of the Patlabor Manga published, and am quite interested in Gundam: The Origin. Both of these were started by Viz but cancelled. :(

Seems France is ahead of us with a lot of Manga releases - went to a comic book store there a while ago and they're on volume 20 of Gantz while we only recently had the first one released.

Jigoku Sensei Nūbē
Rokudenashi Blues
Mr. Fullswing

Anyone of those three getting released over here or in America would make me overjoyed; though i've been thinking, when one of the current sports manga's that VIZ have finished, they'll bring out Mr. Fullswing; But yeah any of them ;)

I've seen that too. Quite alot of European countries seem more open to manga/anime than the Uk. A bit annoying really =/

Anything by Ono Fuyumi (of Twelve Kingdoms , Ghost Hunt fame)
Agree with that, but twelve kingdoms are coming out once a year, in order not to flood the light novels market. She is a great writer and I'm loving every bit of twelve kingdoms even more.

id like to see elfen lied be translated, i really enjoyed the anime so i would like to read the manga. there is a website where it has been translated but some of the time it doesnt make sense.

I want to see more works from Naoki Yamamoto, creator of the incredibly funny and sexy adult romantic comedy Dance Till Tomorrow, which was originally serialized in Viz's Pulp magazine and must have sold like crap as none of his other manga have been translated into English. Not officially, anyway. The amount of juvenile turd that gets churned out by western manga publishers makes this an even more bitter pill to swallow.

Bitter Virgin

Although I've only just read chapter 1-5 (of 32), I agree with this. It's refreshing to see a romance story told in a mature manner, which is how I felt about Kare Kano. I'm looking forward to reading the remaining chapters when I'm done with Death Note.

It's too bad it hasn't been released over here. When I read a little about it I was willing to buy Vol. 1 if someone in the UK happened to be selling it for a reasonable amount, but it isn't available at any store - not even an imported copy.

Agreed... Bitter Virgin is an excellent Manga which does shows the issues in a mature way. I would be 'overjoyed' to see this come out in English (at least), so I can collect them.

Rape, Trauma, etc are told in a mature manner. And the ending left me very happy. Even though they know themselves the relationship will never last, but I hope the future proved them wrong.

So yah... With the use of Neon Lights, Journals, etc, I wholeheartly recommend Bitter Virgin, which is my favourite manga.

And yes, I don't read a lot =P But hey, it's teenager pregnancy told in a mature manner?
