Eyeonanime have spotted that Manga UK intend to produce an English dub (exclusive to the UK) for Millenium Actress; the critically acclaimed anime movie from director Satoshi (Paranoia Agent, Perfect Blue) Kon that was released the US by Dreamworks in 2004 without an English dub. It is due for a UK DVD release on the 15th of September.

its nice to see that Uk anime is getting something that the US didnt.
I will be getting this for sure tho im not sure the dub will be that good anyway.

Why wont it be any good? Im betting it will be done by animaze, the same company behind Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex.

Heck, they probably did this at the same time as Innocence's dub, lol

Oh yeah, its also going to be a 2disc release according to eyeonanime.co.uk.

For once, its the Uk that has a huge one up on the US :p

I didn't know the US didn't get this dubbed. Really liking Satoshi Kon's work (got Perfect Blue and Paranoia Agent awhile ago) and was thinking of getting this. YAY for exclusive dubs

i'm just overjoyed to hear it has an imminent UK release! a two disc set also implies that there will be a nice selection of DVD extras...this just gets better. :D

companys are starting to make the dvds they bring out here better with more stuff. i cant wait to see what it will be like in a year times. :)

Does anyone who anything else about the new street fighter series call ed generations? i know that you can see a trailer at www.manga.com and click on the link for artwork, but apart from that i know nothing.

any help?

It's Street Fighter Alpha Generations, and is the sequel to the SF Alpha movie. It's been said to exist for a while, but not much has been heard of it outside of a few sketches. It was slated for release at the end of June, but it seems to have been pushed back to October 25th (in the US).

As for this new dub, is it yet clear whether it's going to be entirely produced here in the UK, with British voices and all?

Your right Sir Haggis, StreetFighter Alpha Generations is out that time in the US but according to www.manga.co.uk, its out here on the 24th of October. looks like it's set out the events of the Aplha movie, maybe there was a reason for the build of the fight between Akuma and Ryu.
