More importantly they mentioned they were interested in doing a limited edition.
Doing LEs again is bigger news than what the title actualy is.

Sacred Blacksmith is also the worst thing Manglobe have ever made, including doing work on Queen's Blade 2 and Aquarion.

:oops: Did not spot that out thanks for telling me.

Yeah Managlobe have kind of declined in great quality animes, I mean they created great animes like Samuria Champloo and Ergo Proxy and now it's like they only just make fanserive animes now, but I thought Queen's Blade 2 was produced by Arms.

Manglobe did some key animation work on it, they weren't the main studio though. Things are made by about 10 studios normaly, with 1/2 doing the main direction.
This is the worst thing they've so far been involved with, even slightly.

Most of their own stuff has been good except this. Didn't notice much fanservice, House of five leaves didn't have any, The World God Only Knows didn't realy either.

I wonder how their Hayate no Gotoku film will be.

Why are Manga Ent releasing this if its so bad?
They're releasing Zettai Shougeki: Platonic Heart, this is a masterpiece by comparison.

It was cheap? Or they think it will sell well. Good fanservice shows are a rarity, and fanservice has a market.

They'll also be restriced with which licensors they actualy deal with;
Very long e.g.
For instance shows made by TBS (the TV station or disk distributor matters more than the studio) are mostly licensed by Sentai filmworks (every licensed series scince 2006(xxxHolic) , except Pandora Hearts and K-on!). Only Amagami SS, Soremachi, K-on!! (season 2) and Ookamikakushi are unlicensed scince then, it's a very strong conection.

Bandai tend to licence stuff that was distributed by Bandai Visual in Japan.
Viz only go after series where the manga is by Shueishia or Shogakukan (ShoPro, who own them).
Geneon USA only got shows distributed by Geneon. (some are now getting picked up by FUNi)
Aniplex USA is just Aniplex, so distributes their shows. Used to be through FUNi.

In the UK:
Bandai (USA)-> Manga or Beez
Aniplex-> Beez (& Manga?)
Viz-> Manga
FUNi-> Manga
Geneon -> MVM (not sure if anymore, no new Geneon Shows have been releaed in the US after Geneon USA folded)
Media Blasters -> MVM
Ghibli-> Optimum Releasing

Manga haven't actually confirmed that they'll be releasing the limited edition. Someone asked if that was the case and Manga replied "we hope so".

If Manga do release the LE I'd probably get it. It's not the kind of show I'd be spending £35 to import, that's fer sure.

I want them to release the LE here as well, if not, i'm still mostly tempted by the LE R1 version provided Up1 still have it.

In terms of good/bad. It's good, but it has one major flaw from what i remember/hear. The end. Apparently it just ends abruptly, as if season 2 should be round the corner at some point, but still isn't. And i can understand the frustration of that for some, specially those that follow the novels(like i want to), who want to see more content animated. Curse you god damnit tokyopop for getting the crappy manga over the novels. Le sigh, maybe we'll see something if their e-readers idea comes to fruition.

Regardless, If the LE appears from MangaUK, hoorah! i'm picking it up, if not. I'll see if UP1 still have the LE available, if not, i'll wait for Mangas release.

I ended up forgetting to order this from the US, thinking that I had, so would definitely pick up the UK release if it's the LE. Series was actually pretty good, if you ignored the fact that it suddenl
