Hello everyone, some of you may know that I am currently doing a podcasting course at the moment and as part of this, I am producing a short radio documentary on Japanese fashion.
I would like to interview 2/3 Japanese people who are now living in the UK who previously spent their teen years in Tokyo. I’m especially interested in anyone who was part of a particular youth culture/scene: anything from cyber, visual kei, punk rockers, Elegant Gothic Lolita, EGL Aristocrat, 50’s fashion or maybe you belonged to another sub culture that is not widely known.
I would like to find out more about what it was like to belong to your particular scene and the transition from being a teenager to adulthood. If you are interested, please email me at:
