As many of you will know, I'm a journalism student and I'm currently working on my final project which is all about personal finance and over the next couple of weeks I would like forum members help. To kick things off, I'm looking for 3 volunteers to take part in a Supermarket Challenge.
With the credit crunch and increasing food prices, weekly food bills have shot up. The challenge will take two weeks, the first week you will do your regular food shopping at your usual supermarket. The second week you will change the way you shop to see how much money you can save.
At the end of the two weeks, I would like to do a telephone interview to find out how you all got on. I'm trying to find a money expert to comment on how each volunteer did with tips on how to save more money in the future, just to make things interesting.
At the end of the day, it will be a fun challenge and an interesting way to learn money saving tips. If you would like to take part, please leave a message below.
