Hello everyone

Many of you will know that I often blog about money and this has led to an interesting opportunity.

I have written an article about how I payed off my student loan in less than two years and my journalism debut is in today's Daily Telegraph in the Your Money section.

I just wanted to share my good news with everyone!

Cool! I'd definitely pick that up if I could - I'm in Ireland, that paper isn't sold over here :/ Good luck with it all, though!

(Also, why do you have such a strange, strange username? "Manga Girls" ..... ?)

I think two people use the account or used to at least.
 
Thanks everyone! There was quite a funny moment in the newsagents as the shop owners were curious why I was buying two copies, so naturally I had to say, "Because I'm in it."

Ofcourse, I then had to show them. I couldn't wait to get home and open it properly, I had to open it there! Just glad the photo came out okay.

CitizenGeek - My name thing, it's a reference to the Othello manga about a girl with a split personality. I was always talking about this manga to a friend of mine, that in the end, he made me a badge with 'Manga Girls' on it. And the name's just stuck ever since...
 
Congrats Manga Girls! It's always good to get a bit of success and get to show off your work! By the time I got to my local shop they had sold out (they don't have much stock!) is there any chance it was online at all? what was the title of your article?
 
Churchy99 & Chaz - For some reason I can't find it online. There was a student finance special in this weekend's edition.

My article appeared under the heading, 'beat your debt,' alongside a story about how the Government is cracking down on students who don't repay their loans. But on the cover the title read, 'how I paid off my debts and changed my life.' If anyone else finds it, let me know.

What I can do is scan it in to Word when I'm back at uni and PM it to anyone who wants to read it.

I wouldn't mind taking a look at your article actually, i never managed to grab the paper when it was in it, so now would be great.
