Lupin III : Green vs Red Trailer!

Following up from my post in the image forum here's a trailer for the upcoming Lupin III OAV. The video is filmed on a handheld but from what can be seen the animation looks phenomenal. I love the meshing of the different styles of Lupin through the years at about a minute in. I just hope it's an all round fantastic production and not just visually appealing.

It really looks a lot like Cowboy Bebop (or rather, Bebop looked a lot like Lupin). Seems to have a noir edge and, like you, I'm totally digging the style of animation. It just looks really cool... like the people working on it love Lupin and are putting all their hearts into it. I've now got to work out if I can watch this without having ever seen anything Lupin, ever; not even the Miyazaki movie!

If it's anything like the rest of the franchise then you will be able to no problem. Though since it's a celebration of sorts I'm sure they'll be references to past movies, tv series and specials that you won't get.

All you ever need to know about Lupin is that he's a thief and Zenigata has made it his lifes goal to hunt him down.
