I wouldn't imagine, based upon your oft-aired views, that any version of Love Hina would suit you. Still, as it goes, Love Hina Again is a continuation and conclusion to the TV series. Not ground-breaking but if you liked the TV series this is something you will probably enjoy.CitizenGeek said:Eh ... the Love Hina manga - at least what I've read of it - is mediocre at best and I've heard the anime isn't much better, so I can't say I'm too interested in this!
Is this sequel any better than the original, though?

They didn't start on the second season at all. Apart from hints in episode 25. which is a crying shame. Hence why they done the specials and Love Hina Again.
In saying that, i'll end up buying Love Hina Again.

I read somewhere (cant remember where, was nearly a year ago when i watched this series) that Love Hina Again was a second season but they couldnt continue it (as i said above). Im still hoping today that they carry on this series as it was brilliant, probably the best Harem/Comedy out there to be honest
Sho Aikawa. The story is fairly consistent from episode 1 to 24, where it rises to a climax. Episode 25 begins anew the second half of the story. However this episode is the final episode of the television series. Most viewers feel confused about the newly-began-and-left-unfinished story arc, and also confused about why there was no true resolution to the earlier portion of the series.
While the 25th episode may seem an unexpected and unnatural adjunct to the plot, it is because it was meant to be the first episode of another series of 24, which would have generally rounded out the story of the series. The reason that no more episodes beyond 25 were produced is because the production company unexpectedly ran out of budget to continue it.
