The show is at EARLS COURT 2, LONDON, SW5 9TA"

Earls Court 2 does indeed look a rather sizeable place, but I haven't heard as much excitement amongst the fanbase as I have for the city's other main convention. To those who have been before, may I ask how it compares?

I see. I wonder if this will mean MCM-style DVD and merchandise in current and future events.
Regardless, the fact they're branching out to anime ought to be a plus for the domestic industry.

How Do you open the film compartment on a 35mm camera?
I have a photography assignment that is due, and I can't open the film compartment of my camera, to insert the film. I know how to load the film, but I can't manage to get the film compartment open on this camera (I can't find any sort of release button). My camera is a Pentax, if that helps at all. Please help me!

I believe you'd better search for a technical forum. This is an anime one, so I don't expect people here to be able to help. Of course someone might surprise me... =)

Have you tried pulling up the film rewind handle? On older film cameras it was a basic feature. Once you have rewound the film back into the "can" you fold the crank handle back in and then lift the whole crank to open the flap.

Looks like things didn't live up to expectations then. Compared to other events in the capital, was there much to buy at this con?

NOt even a third of the stalls at something like the Expo, and though there was more stalls than at the Japanese arts festival in Richmond last weekend the quality was much better there than at the con.
