Still trying to get grips with the site myself, so don't ask for navigation help. Go through the live audio feeds, the ones for New York/LAPD etc are usually hilarious (Just about all the american feeds have '**** goin' down')

This one had a hostage situation earlier involving a school, they vary from actual shoot outs to the police flirting with each other

There isn't usually anything special going on in our country (couldn't find anything in my area anyway), but choose your feed, click the audio speaker to the left and give it a go!
 
This is interesting to say the least, I do agree with you that the site navigation is a bit bizzare, maybe I'll check this out when I get more time
 
My chosen cops keep getting those numerical codes they use to refer to crimes wrong and stopping to correct themselves. They found a house with it's door open suspiciously, went to investigate and found that the occupants had left their door open. Thrilling stuff.
