Studio Trigger's critically acclaimed fantasy short film Little Witch Academia and its follow-up Little Witch Academia: The Enchanted Parade were both added to the growing line-up of anime titles available on the premium streaming service Netflix earlier today.

Directed by Yoh Yoshinari (Gurren Lagann Parallel Works) and written by Masahiko Otsuka (When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace), the two charming short films follow Akko Kagari, a student at the Luna Nova Magical Academy for young witches. Following the success of the first short, a Kickstarter was launched to partially fund production of a sequel; where its initial goal of $150,000 was met in a mere five hours.

Additionally, the service has also seen the addition of Aniplex and ufotable's Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works televsion anime, which was broadcast in Japan earlier this year. An adaptation of the best-selling visual novel set ten years following the events of renowned prequel Fate/Zero, the vsual treat tells the story of Shirou Emiya, a young man with little magical talent who finds himself caught in the middle of the Fifth Holy Grail War, a ceremonial battle royale between heroic figures from across history and the mages who summoned them.

MVM Entertainment will be releasing Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works on DVD and Blu-ray in the United Kingdom; with the first volume currently scheduled for 21st March 2016.
