Well, were do i start???? OMG THIS IS A EXCELLENT GAME!!!!!!!!

The beta was brilliant and gave players the chance to create any level they like, Creating innovative and endless possibilities and using the PSN to a great standard, connecting the worlds players whilst they play through large scale complexity and mind boggling possibilities dreamt up by both the creators and the PSN community :D

Now that was just the Beta testing.....add thousands more tools/stickers/materials and bits an bobs, inject a high concerntration of adreneline into your bloodstream and believe that anything you think up....is possible!

TROPHIES! yes you get trophies in this epic game! rumours of prizes to those who collect a platinum trophy in any playstation title, so keep at it folks :thumb:

All levels created in the beta have been carried across to the actual game. relieving players of their hours of tinkering to create their immensely adventurous/funny/weird or damn right out of this world levels!

I'm currently working on some levels i hope to publish next week (due to the fact i'm playing through the game collecting bubbles and prizes)

Wahhh mine is still lost somewhere in our wonderful post system ;( I'd have bought from a shop to save time but was suckered by the bonus Nariko from Play. I can't wait; having played the beta I know this is going to be something I spend many hours in when it finally arrives!

It had better get here before next week or I'll be torn when Wrath of the Lich King comes out...

i know what your saying about being torn between two. Naruto ultimate ninja storm comes out tomorrow....this week is so expensive *sigh* BUT well worth it :D
 
Well, I'm officially annoyed at my Bank.

Ordered a PS3 with free LBP but my card was declined twice. Now I have my first bank statement at my new place and they've got my postcode wrong. Not only did it take them a bloody week to change my address which I had to fill a paper form in to do (how archaic is that?) but now I can't carry out online transactions.

Interestingly though, Amazon don't care at all and neither do HMV if I put the wrong postcode in my billing address. So I've ordered it from them at the same price but no dispatch 'til the 14th...

It seems a very mixed bag - my dad got his on Tuesday, one of my friends received it yesterday, and everyone else I know is waiting patiently! Just got my Nariko code e-mail though so at least I have the pretty sackgirl in the bag.

Gah N:UNS comes out so soon too? I'd better put it on my Christmas list. There's not enough time in the day to play all these games at the moment. It's been less than a year since I bought Narutimate blah blah Accel 2!

i'll give it afew days before the costumes become prizes in levels and the whole promotional thing becomes a waste :p

just want to finish work and go home and play more :(

The whole aspect of building your own levels, etc. Sounds awesome, however... Sackboy looks retarded, whatever happened to the good ol' Furry lead character in platformers?
 
Asda was selling this yesterday for some reason...nearly bought it, but too many other games coming out over the next week or so, so it'll have to wait!

The basic naked Sackboy looks retarded. However, my hot pink Sackboy with a bushy moustache, frilly dress and bunny ears looks so badass that Mario and Sonic would run screaming. And that was just made from beta items, not the full deviant library of accessories.

Some of the furries I've seen other people make are pretty cute too. There was an excellent picture (actually an ad) I saw a while ago I'd love to post when I find it on this note.

Building your character is half the fun :)

Mines running around wearing a tuxedo, a mini top hat, black pants and vampire teeth.

he was running around with a giant zebra head on and springy eyes popping out of the sockets. with nothing else on....but a tiny spring with a pink star on it where his privates should be. just for comic affect :p

40mins till home time :D
 
I like the game, very much. I've always had an odd feeling about it, I wouldn't know if I would take to it, how much enjoyment and stuff I would have. But now I got it, Thank God I love it.

My Sackboy isn't that intricate yet. As I do with quite a lot of similar games, I tend to make it.. Then leave it for a fair amount of time, unless something awesome has to happen with it.

The online stuff it pretty cool, also. Sweet Child O' Mine played on a LBPiano is amusing.

I can't be the only one wanting to spend £4 on that "LBP Rare First Week Shirt" on the PSN. If all goes to plan, I will get it!!!
 
This is funnnn, I only played 3 player though. Just entering online levels and stuff, didn't do many story levels.

I can see it getting boring fast though, but it's fun whilst it lasts.
 
well i'm half way through Fairground? its been published and i'm awaiting peoples ideas. so if you search fairground? can you test it for me.

If anyone's played "super sackboy bro's" Pt 1 and Pt2, and liked them....i've previewed Pt 3 and i must say its alot more perilous.

there's a metal gear level based on the 1st mgs game. its been done really well so be sure to check it out :thumb:
 
I want to get this but Age of Reckoning, Fallout 3, Gears 2 and the fact I bought a new guitar yesterday mean I cant afford it; or get time to play it.
 
I knew LBP was flexible, but not this flexible! It really does look like an amazingly fun game. I'd be surprised if it doesn't get GOTY in many publications purely based on how inventive and effectively innovative it is. When/if I ever get a PS3, I know what's right on top of my games-to-buy list :]
 
Weekend has been quite a gamer weekend, with people over and such. LBP didn't get played as much as STORM, but man, some of the online levels are absolutely hysterical. Bolting down incredibly fast on a Sonic-esque track is great.

Another thing I love is once you think you've finally seen everything something can do. You get knocked down by something amazing happening-- Case in point: By moving your hands, you can hit another player down. <3
 
well i agree with CG and Jayme
LBP is epic. the level CG was talking about i have actually played and its brilliant. some of the levels on there are really complex. there's one which is just excellent to play has a good story to it (ICO completed) and another which is my favourite because of its thriller/horror theme.....a near pitch black level where your aim is to climb a snowy mountain and all sorts of things unfold. i love it.
