Why 88, you may wonder? 88 is the current record for a UK anime meet (excluding conventions & other events, obviously).

But the average numbers for the London Anime Club meetings is about 175 people according to their website. Which seems pretty right for when I`ve attended.

Plus you holding this meet in London the day before the London Anime Club meeting and on a saturday for people who work like me and go to LAC it be nearly impossible to go :(. I usually have to barter days off just so I can go to LAC and saturdays are a nightmare to get off.

I wish you luck and that you beat that 88 number.

I would class LAC under 'other events'. The 88 record is for one-off forum meet of Anime-Europe forums, July '03 in London. If you can ensure noone gets left behind, you'll be beating that meet already.
