This weekend sees Hawaii's Kawaii Kon take place, and the event in question also saw North American distributor Sentai Filmworks announce another new license acquisition to add to their burgeoning release slate.
The big announcement at the event was Kobato, Madhouse's twenty-four episode adaptation of an on-going manga by CLAMP (published by Yen Press in the UK) starring an innocent and naive girl with a mission to heal the hearts of the people she meets so that her own wish to visit a certain location can be granted.
Sentai Filmworks have confirmed that the series is currently slated for an August release in the US although no news regarding the release formats for the series, or whether the series will receive an English dub or be subtitle only, have been announced at the time of writing.
