Watched this a few weeks ago, there are 4 short oav's each one is about 15 minutes long and its set after the movie. Each episode is a fast paced battle set in their home city as it burns down around them.

Synopsis: The four episodes are set in Southtown, the imaginary city well known to all fans as the stage of numerous death matches throughout the KOF series. Many past heroes of the saga make their appearance here, and the four plots intertwine to create a large-scale drama, that is also linked to the story of KOF Maximum Impact 2.

Had to mention this as it has an amazing soundtrack, really gets your heart pumping and your pulse racing throughout the fight scenes

Well worth getting hold of a copy, short but stunning in my opinion
 
Is this actually licensed? because I'm sure Shinsen subs did it a while ago...

Well, I may watch it, but only if the bad guy doesn't have SNK boss syndrome.

I got it subbed from Shinsen, but it is coming out with the nex KoF dvd apparently so will be buying that too
 
yeah i'm downloaded this now... but ya said it was set after the movie but i can't find any info on a king of fighters movie? any chance ya could gimmie a link to some info on it. or even what it was called.... thanks
 
Wish I could but I have no idea what the original film was, I just remember that was what was written on the Shinsen-Subs site when I downloaded it, although it could be that I mis-understood and the OVA is set after the game
