Towards the end of last year, Anime Limited commenced their home video release of Aniplex and Studio Trigger's brilliantly chaotic <strong>Kill la Kill</strong> with the first of three Collector's Edition volumes and today, the anime distributor has confirmed plans for a lower-cost standard edition release of the series, which will be commencing next year.
The series will be re-released across three individual parts on both DVD and blu-ray formats. The first two volumes will have a recommended retail price of £29.99 and contain nine episodes each, while the third will wrap up the series with the last the last five episodes and the OVA for £24.99; with online retailers expected to offer discounted prices.
Anime Limited have yet to confirm a release date for the first standard edition volume, but noted that they will be re-releasing the series in 2016. The series is currently available on the Netflix premium streaming service.
