Ahh, i'd love to be able to do kendo at some point, but i've never got the time to do so. University takes up all of my time, so whenever i do find something i want to do, it piles up the work i need to do so i can't. I know there is a place in edinburgh that does it though at least if i do eventually find time.
If I was was going to do anything nowadays I would probably do Kuydo as it ties in with my archery. Also my back and knees are too messed up to go back into the Judo, Karate and Ju-Jitsu that I did when I was younger. Although I would love to give kendo a go I fear I would not show enough restraint and move away from prescribed techniques.
My dad's a 4th dan (that's three up from black belt to most people) at Shotokan Karate, and he teaches it so I used to do a lot of Karate when I was younger. I also did Aikido for a short while aswell.
I havn't done any serious martial arts for years though. I, unfortunately, sort of gave it up.
