That's an...unusual choice of project for Otomo to be working on! You know it's his work as soon as you see the character designs - maybe a little of this might find its way into one of his future projects...?

That's an equally unusual thing for Otomo to be involved with! I'm not sure if he was approached for the job or the other way around but it's a definite departure from pretty much everything he's done so far (can't imagine Ginko tucking into a pot of Nissin Cup Noodles either). It will be really interesting to see how that one turns out though.
 
i thought i was watching the wrong thing at first! the onlt thing it had to do with noodles is the kid eating some before he went around on that wheel chair bike thingy... or was it after? i dont know, it was on a loop, i was on the third time round before i thought 'ive seen this before.'
