KARAS dub snags Hollywood actors

The English dub of KARAS will feature three Hollywood actors in the main roles; more specifically, the dub will include the voice talents of Matthew Lillard (of Scream fame), Jay Hernandez (Hostel) and Piper Perabo (Coyote Ugly).

KARAS (which is set for it's UK DVD debut on the 24th of April) is a high budget science fiction OVA series from anime studio Tatsunoko Productions; famous for producing such series as Speed Racer and Tekkaman Blade.

I definetly wont be listeneing to the dub now, I doubt I can take the guy that played Shaggy seriously.

Dub/Sub both the same, still get the story across. Meh, makes no difference to me, I'm still buying KARAS, as it's awesome.

I'm sure i remember hearing that Matthew Lillard had been in the dub of Princess Mononoke (Probably just as additional voices), so he might be okay.

UNfortunately his live-action roles have typecast him into a goofy, wacky character. But when he gets serious his voice is pretty good.
