With the summer anime season now well and truly underway, it's now time for streaming service Crunchyroll to start showing its hand and unveiling which series we'll be able to watch here in the UK this summer.
The first confirmations from the site bring us two series available in the UK with a third, the new season of Natsume Yuujinchou, on the way. Bandai Entertainment have also confirmed that Sacred Seven will be available via Crunchyroll, but we expect this to be unavailable in our territory. The two series we do get however are:
Kamisama Dolls, Brain's Base supernatural action-drama manga adaptation which the trials and tribulations of a college student named Kyouhei, who moves away from Tokyo to escape from some unspecified issues there only to find himself caught up in a bloody murder that appears to have been carried out by an old friend of his sister's and his decidedly spooky "doll". The series is yet to begin streaming on the site, but you'll be able to find it via this page on Crunchyroll.
YuruYuri, an adaptation of a comedy manga, featuring staff working on the project which includes both the director and writer of Mitsudomoe and Minami-ke's first season, about a group of female friends who take over a former clubroom at their school to use for their own amusement. Episodes of this series will stream at 10:30AM every Tuesday - the first episode is now available via this Crunchyroll page.
