Aye. Got in to see the last 1/2 of the race. Gratz to the man.

"We are the champions, my friends! And we'll keep on fighting to the end!" I dont care what the commentators think, that was great singing from the lad.
 
yeah, haha, great race, he drove superbly to get to 5th, what a season, 2 brit champions in a row, amazing stuff, cant wait for next season too, watched every race this season pretty much in full.
 
He had the white and yellow car, did he not?
I myself don't know much about these new teams- manufacturers seem to come and go.

We are sore losers, specially at home =P which happened twice in a row. Congrats to the man though, for his consistently good performance on the races.
 
If you had told me a year ago that Jenson Button would win a Formula One championship, I would have laughed in your face, even with my rusty knowledge of the movers and the shakers. My reaction now is just simply that this 'sport' - to flatter it by calling it one - has just proved once and for all that the sportsperson involved is utterly irrelevant. Kudos to the team who've come from nowhere and built an amazing machine, but I'm not quite ready for the robot Olympics yet.

tough one, I tend to cheer on any brits in the F1 to be honest, I think both are great drivers, I think Hamilton will be more succsesful though, im expecting to see more titles for Lewis, Jenson can win more too, but he needs a good car and team behind him, hopefully he will have both now as a World Champion, i'd love to see them go head to head for the title next season!

A driver can do nothing without a good car, granted, but they still have to win races. Hamilton and Kovalainen drive the same car but Hamilton has consistently out-raced his teammate, often to an embarassing degree.

Also, it's the best drivers who are given the opportunity to drive the best cars.
