Japan Matsuri 2010 is on 18 Sep 2010 in London

Saturday 18th September 10:00am – 8:00pm
Spitalfields Markets, Brushfield Street, London

Join us for the second Japan Matsuri this September.

After the runaway success of last year’s event, we are delighted that we will be able to use both new and old Spitalfields Markets, giving much more space to move. We hope you will join us again to celebrate Japanese festival culture, listen to music, watch performances, try new activities and (of course) eat good food!

I was there! Chaos and myself searched thoroughly for takoyaki, though such endeavours came to no avail until after I had left.

One wholeheartedly recommends this to anyone with an interest in Japan. Whilst the performance on the main stage came across as being somewhat unrefined, the general atmosphere is cherishable. This is the nearest one can get to the matsuri seen in countless anime without boarding an aircraft.
