They used to have some madman anime on the Aussie version. Not any more though.

Mmmh, if I was the kind of person who downloads anime - I would do it illegally.

Personally, I'd rather buy my anime and own some nice, unique artwork on my shelves; And, be able to watch it on a tv with no issues.

Can't really say I'm one to watch anime dowloaded over and over. I'm one of those who likes a real physical product to hold and collect.

Now knowing much about video compression and all that - I don't know what the difference in quality is between dvd and iTunes downloads, but from what I've seen it seems considerable.

Add to that the fact that it usually costs more to download a series through iTunes than it does to buy it on dvd, I think I'll stick to dvd (that and the UK isn't getting a price cut anymore - bloody economy.)
