Anime News Network have posted an interview with Fuyumi Ono, book author of the popular Japanese fantasy series The Twelve Kingdoms; Ono describes her work as both mythical and historical, and has been writing the series for over 15 years. The first novel (of 8) was released last week in the US by TokyoPop.The Twelve Kingdoms spawned a 45 episode anime series created in 2002 and has been released in the US by Media Blasters, no UK license has been announced.
