Dandy Guy, in Space
i was reading about this anime on everybodys friend, wiki and it said that the music was changed for the dub i just wanted to know if this happened in the funi dub or just the original tokyopop dub

ps am i best just to get the fansubs, because i like listening to the original music in anime

I believe from looking at the box in the shop a while back that the UK version has the (terrible) Tokyopop dub and the normal unmolested sub track. I don't think they ever made a hacked up sub version so you should be fine with the release and have no reason to skip it for fansubs. I'm afraid I haven't picked it up myself yet so can't confirm 100%.

Tricked out version is marketing speak for "terrible Tokyopop version" if it helps.

I got the volume 1 of the UK edition a few weeks ago and it's got a choice of both versions on each of the discs (3 x 3 episode discs). It's a good release made even better at the low price. :D

I tried switching between tracks to see which I preferred watching but went the the subtitled version in the end (I normally do dubs but decided against it this time).

There is no FUNimation dub. FUNimation are distributing on Tokyopop's behalf so this refers to all versions of the English dubbed version.
