This game has just caught my interest. A football RPG. Made by Level 5 (Who helped out on Dragon Quest). XD.

I can't seem to find to much information about it. It apparently has a Winter '07 release. It looks scrumptious. Hmmm. . .Anime cut scenes. . .

So. DBZ With Balls anyone?!?!
 
Looks alright, apart from the cliché character designs and the fact it's similar to Mario Strikers...

EDIT: The Goal keepers seiyuu seems to be Junko Takeuchi of Naruto fame and Gon from HxH.
 
OMG i am so hyped for this game!
i always liked the idea of having rpg elements or gameplay style mixed with football.

the only other game i have played which is somewhat in the same genre, is Captain Tsubasa on the gba.....it had a grid/turn based/card system (damn that is a lot of systems)

i am still looking forward to this, and hope that this gets an localized release.
 
Yeah, not a big football fan but I've been keeping my eye on this game since it's announcement recently. So far it's looking quite amusing, and could be a sleeper hit in the west if they can add enough gameplay elements that make it stand out from the manager games.
