Thats right a movie about a video game, now I know these rarely work, and I think this one will live up to that theory...... no really this movie is going to be a struggle to watch.... no really it is, check out the casting and you'll see what I mean, watch the trailer and you'll hear what i am going on about.

Casting was obviously not high on there agenda, now I am not having a go at the acting skills of those they cast but I just don't see them working well with this script. Why you may be asking well 1st theres Jason Stathom brilliant in Lock Stock, Snatch The Transporter and Crank but in a medievil setting, I think not. And Ray Liotta one of the kings of the gangster movies as a sorcerer eek! Then you have Burt Reynolds as the KING what!!! If youcheck out the trailer link below it also lists other weird choices like Scoobydoos Matthew Lillard and

OK so the casting it not all bad infact Stathom will do the action sequences justice from what the trailer shows, but his voice just destroys any belief you have that he's meant to be there. Oh and another gem would have to be Ron Pearlman as a Champion, I love this guy and fell he was built to swing a sword.

Anyway heres the TRAILER please let me know that you all think. Oh and count how many times you think your watching clips from the LOTR's movies too lol

Synopsis of the film itself:
A simple family man (Jason Statham) is forced to take up arms after an evil sorcerer (Ray Liotta) unleashes an army of bloodthirsty beasts that destroy his small village and capture his beautiful wife (Claire Forlani). As the marauding forces overrun the land in an effort to overthrow the king (Burt Reynolds) and his loyal magus (John Rhys-Davies), the once peace-loving peasant and his two companions (Ron Perlman and Will Sanderson) venture into perilous, uncharted terrain on a daring rescue mission. In this breathtaking fantasy adventure, director Uwe Boll conjures up a medieval world filled with royal treachery, dark magic and spectacular battles, all set against some of the most awe-inspiring vistas ever captured on film

It's by Uwe Boll. And I know he tries very hard with his Nazi Gold, but I don't see him making anything good for a long time. Unless you find anything over the top funny, regardless of substance, in that case you'll probably like Postal.
