Import & Hentai Forum

I feel somewhat isolated from my peers, can we please have a forum to cater for those that import from the various locations round the world.

For instance yesterday i recieved my 'Dirty Pair TV box set' from Japan yet if i post pictures and info about it anywhere, it will just seem odd and out of place.

Please cater for me, i need a place to vent my frustrations behind the slower moving growth of the UK industry.

EDIT - Just realised you have no hentai forum - SHOCK HORROR - however will the UK fans learn of cream lemon?

Curse this forum and it's prehistoric backward nature towards reflecting fandom 10 years ago.
 
you can talk about imports anyway, no rules saying you can't. just not allowed to discuss where to download fan subs


and i don't see any need for a hentai forum tbh
 
*Shrugs* - you could isolate all of your hentai discussion to one thread, and the thread would probably degenerate anyway.

You are better off discussing hentai on one of the big american forums anyway - Animenation would probably be best.

No rules against discussing imports either, as long as they are legal (US, Japanese, Oz), but importing got pimped to death recently by a couple of readers and really annoyed a lot of people. Best not dig up that corpse.
 
I see no real need for a hentai forum here. As ever, supply equals demand - if I see a ton of hentai posts on the forum, then I'll consider it. The best thing you could do is start a hentai thread and then we'll see the response.

An import forum is perhaps a more feasible suggestion given the broad range of topics it could cover, from hints and tips about the best import sites and the best prices etc. This is something I'm certainly thinking about.
 
No one really talks about hentai here so is there really a need?

As for imports I get loads and just post about them in General Anime Discussion board

aye probually a good idea, could also help stop spoilers too, after all, no use having a mai-hime thread when 30% of us are talking bout vol 6 when vol 3 isn't even out here
 
I'm seriously considering to start importing, with the prices of anime DVDs in the UK being what they are. I certianly would be all for an Imports Forum, so that I could read up on other people's experiences before I delve in myself.
 
If that’s the case an import thread would be more effective, not a whole board. Its like dedicating an entire board to anime that is distributed with an artbox, there is nothing in it that doesn't fit into another board. I see equal value in a Hentai board.

If you are considering importing look to the link below, I would however diswade you from it. Even so I have already made my feelings very clear on teh subject before ^^

i agree, i prefer not to wait to get something i am after but i will if need be. An importing part on the forums i wouldn't mind going with, the hentai part however, i think we should pass on. i don't really see the need for it.

I love to get stuff when its available so I prefer to import, besides its never a lot more and most of the time I find it cheaper to import what I want/need

Nah nah, what we have is fine already. No need to clutter everything up with even more sub forums.

I vote we ban him and then change the link to this thread so it links that site to a photo of two guys and a creepy puppet goblin thing pouring milk all over the face of a woman inside a shower.

Hentai doesn't really bother me, but I agree that if someone wants to talk about it they can just start a thread in the anime discussion section rather than giving it its own section
 
Not too much of a bother, does annoy me though when people think Anime is Hentai and people don't see the difference; Also its annoying when people think Hentai is the Japanese way of Pornography.
 
I just find it funny.

That goes for Disney porn especially.

The very notion of Misty getting stuffed by tentacruel is laughter inducing.

I think a hentai forum would be acceptable here, as it may cater to some peoples wants or ... needs?
