i have a question about this dvd (18+) only maybe

i heard a show called night shift nurses a anime or hentai as i might purchase it but am not sure if it will be possbile for me to keep if its hentai as there is a new law on hentai in this country now

I think even non-hentai things like Blade of the Immortal are technically illegal from the vague wording of the new legislation. I don't understand though whether depictions of fictional people are included or not. Surely a lot of novels are going to be banned too as well as comics if this isn't clarified..?

The spirit of it seems to be more about live action performances which involve real actors...

From what I can tell, and this is just an outside opinion from a country not affected by it, its a law designed to treat grown citizens like small children who are incapable of making their own decisions about what material they view lest they become wild rapists overnight.

Basically its morality censership which ignores evidence that men are less interested in "the deed" after the introduction of a steady adult content supply (milage may vary).

In my humble opinion, a giant step backwards.

hentai if licensed for the uk would go through the bbfc so it would be cut/edited alot if uncut it would be r18 NOT 18 r18 dvds are only allowed to be sold in licensed sex shops

up1 can sell hentai as its imports and doesnt go though the bbfc

unfortunatly yes, usually mixed with the anime, which i belive is the reason most hmv stores use to keep anime next to "Adult movies" rather than marshal arts

Thankfully, my HMV doesn't have an Adult Section =D

I hate Zavvi for replacing the anime section with a Adult Section!? And then seperated the anime all over the A-Z film section. Come on, I know Anime isn't highly demand, but really... is Porn more demanded than anime.
