how you oraganise your dvd collection?

As best I can they are in series on the shelves and in piles on the floor as I have run out of shelf space. I used to try and put similar things together but I can't be arsed anymore.

hmmm,.... interesting. if it is a spin off movie of a series them i will put it with the series so it is complete. if it is a one off then i will put them in a-z order with the tittles.

I currently have 3 stacks of DVD's next to each other, with all the DVD's in order. Each stack has around *counts*... 42 DVD's in each. I have a small table with my box sets on next to them.

I have mine spanning 2 deep bookcases along with one little dvd stand (Just for 50 dvds) No real order to them although I tend to keep the boxsets along the top an ones without box near the bottom.

Alphabetical order [series all together] but with all the Ghilbi movies at the end *likes looking at sets*.

I literally have no more shelf space so i'm looking out for more shelves but at the moment any new DVDs'll have to be stacked on top.

Alphabetical in order and they are mixed in with my other non-anime dvds (so my Full Metal Panic dvds are right next to my Firefly boxset)

Alphabetical order but I like to have complete series on the one shelf so if it starts to come near the edge of the shelf I may just move several DVDs down so that the whole series is together.

Alphabetical order of title, in a set of shelves (currently in a removal box at the time of writing however).

I use AnimeSeen and MAL to keep track of what I have, because I have a worryingly large amount of shows in progress!

organize?

I have one stack for dvd's to watch and another with watched ones.
When the to watch becomes empty, I just change the other =)

I used to organize by alphabetically by title, if it was a series, the series name as the title and then by series sequence. When I moved to London from Belfast, I've trashed the dvd boxes and got me a case to carry them =(

I wanted to get one of those cases you can save everything, as I've throw away the boxes, but kept the art layer (sic?)

I have a DVD box with the larger part of my collection in rough alphabetical order. However my more recent purchases are grouped together in series' in no particular order on my shelf. It works for me.
