As the title says, the popular franchise, which has spawned manga, novels and an anime, adapted from a dojin game; will now have a live-action movie to boot, it will be out sometime in 2008.

Awesome.
 
I'm sure the likes of the BBFC love the idea of Groundhog day + Cluedo + Child Murder.

I'm not betting on much Higurashi stuff making into blighty
