Highlander director cut, inc. Japanese dub, out in Japan '08

The director's cut of <em><strong>Highlander: Search for Vengeance</strong></em> <a href="http://www.animenation.net/news/index.php?id=12251">will be released</a> in Japan during the summer of 2008. Amongst other things, the movie will feature, for the first time, a Japanese dub (the movie was financed by North American companies) and as a result, will be much closer to Yoshiaki "Ninja Scroll" Kawajiri's original vision. The original Western version of this film <a href="http://www.animeuknews.net/news/1407/highlander-vengence-cut-despite-directors-protests">had cuts and edits imposed</a> on it by the producers.

I hope we get to see this in the UK, although I doubt we will and very much doubt it will be released uncut with an English Dub.

The version we have is rubbish, I can only guess that the Directors Cut will be much better.
