Hello, I've been idly checking the site now for a couple of years, and I really think it's time I sign up and say hi to all of you. You're a pretty damned reliable lot compared to some forums :)

I little info about myself, I've been into Anime and Manga for about 10-12 years now (I'm getting on at 26 years old :( ), my first exposure was Dominion Tank Police, still one of the best series ever, and then Akira on BBC2.

I read more Manga, than Anime, I love anything Kosuke Fujishima, Masamune Shirow and Ryoji Minagawa. I tend to have a better appreciation for older Manga/Anime, tho I still enjoy new stuff.

And I think that's it ... for now at least ...

I've got both Dominion Tank Police Series on DVD and it was also one of my first anime. I agree! One of the best! Maybe it's just an older taste?
