Hey just wondering, i feel like watching something other than just Bleach and since ive got some money spare i can afford to get some DVD's or stream or something so, just wanted to know what you suggest.
So yeh, im way into Bleach, Death Note, Pokemon. So, any suggestions?? Im after something more similar to Bleach than Death Note cause, personally i feel with a story like Death Note you need to do the story very well to pull it off. So, any reccomendations??
Anyone know something about Witch Hunter Robin, think id like?? (im into fantasy stuff too)

Well here's a few to get you started:

Akira (a classic, though hard to understand on first viewing)
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (a mix of action and smarts, one of the best anime's out there in my opinion)
S-Cry-ed (might be best to wait until the boxsets come out for this one)
Gundam Seed
Trigun (another great show)
Cowboy Bebop (a classic and a excellent show to boot)
Neon Genesis Evangelion (you must of heard or seen some of this one)

As for witch hunter robin, i'm watching it at the moment (thanks to anime central) and i'm enjoying, its not action heavy but its good.

well i guess akira is since its a two hour movie but most of the others i mentioned are 26 eps long and Gundam Seed is 50 eps. I would say start with Ghost in the Shell stand alone complex since, i believe it is possible to get the first 26 eps boxset in a sale but you might want to wait until other people have posted here

Bleach, Death Note = Shonen... JUMP... So.. Go watch One Piece or a lesser extent Naruto. Then once you get to grips with the Jump of the world you can get acustomed to other such titles as Cowboy Bebop and Ghost In The Shell. Just to note, The JUMP series' noted prior are the longest out of Bleach and Death Note, In which Death Note has a ending and the others do not.

So.. Yeah.. One Piece.. Watch that then come back and choose some shorter series' - Shounen is always a good starter, Its a bit different to your average cartoon and its no where near as heavy as what a anime can be.

Have funzies with learning as to what make anime so exhilarating. ^__^

{Note, This should be in the Recommendation boards}

YuYu Hakusho I guess...but MVM pretty much gave up on it after...three volumes? So you'd have to import it. Not ideal if you're just starting in anime, but it's worth keeping in mind.

Plenty of fighting/training/ghosties...so not too different from Bleach, just less overhyped... >_>

I agree with Eureka 7, though i need to watch the last 20 episodes or there abouts, and i would recommend FMA, if i had seen more than 8 episodes. Other than that, Cowboy Bebop is a must for anyone in my opinion, its brilliant, everything from characters to soundtrack. Erm, Shounen jump wise, One Piece, but make sure you watch it in japanese, it won't be editted then.

Oh yeah definitly give Bebop a shot, and while were on that side of things, you could also check out Outlawstar.

Thanks alot guys. Thats really awesome. I think il lure it down to:
Black Lagoon
Full Metal Alchemist
Trigun (ive heard alot about that)
Eureka 7

^^ Those are just for the time being though i will try the others too. Il probably go through in that order too :) Sound like good choices??

I'm actually surprised you haven't watched Naruto yet, Most people watch that when they watch Bleach since its pretty much the same action and comedy - Except Naruto has a stronger overall story IMO, The Bleach manga is better over the anime though. With the Naruto anime and manga, It is really the same. People whom say "The anime is **** and the manga is good" are lying through their teeth since it really, really is the same thing.

^__^

You've got a decentish selection there, I haven't seen Trigun but it seems to be like marmite with people, They either like it or hate it. Full Metal Alchemist is a really great series overall and Black Lagoon has Guns with Gurlz and what it nawt to like about that. !!!
