the demo for heavy rain its now avalible on the psn network to downlaod from today

Ive played it and all i can say is I WANT MORE!! the game was a real tease, but i loved every minuite of it.

Its like watching a movie but interacting with it, controls are pretty good. It gives you screen promts of when you can interact with some thing. My only thing about controls is the handling while your walking but it would just take some getting use to

Roll on 26th Feb so i can play more

Anyone else played the demo yet? any one looking foward to it
 
I've been crazy hyped for this for ages now, absolutely can't wait.

Not a massive fan of demos though - is it the taxidermist house scenario that they used to show the game off initially?
 
Im not a fan of demos either, i normaly end up playing them and hating them so find the acutally game ok. I loved the demo though which is unsual for me

No its not thetaxidermist house scenario the demo is like 3 different bits a tutorial piece so you can get a rang of the conrols. An converstation/action scene and an investigations one
 
I'm not particulately interested in the game. But just though I'd tell you guys about a conference I was working at The Sage Gateshead, where a French guy (who I assume is one of the dev's) played Heavy Rain and talked about it for ages lol. This was like a year ago I think, maybe, I'm not entirely sure. But yeah.

They've been getting alot of my moneys lately with their exclusive special editions. I think they're also offering both FFXIII special editions (360 bundle and £60 edition with book + OST) plus the standard one with a special slipcase.. Never mind, i need the guide so i ordered mine from play ;)

Im hoping that it turns up tuesday or wednesday at work that way i get to rent it early before it comes out -begs for them to deliver it early in the week-

I want to play this game so badley less than a week to go
 
Heavy Rain I've been following for a while and at first I couldn't find anything on what it about until I got hold of the demo.

I got the demo off the website a week before it was on PSN, it made you find 4 clues linking to the killer and if you were successful, they would give a code to download the demo in advance.

I did infact like the demo and pre-ordered it right away :D

Just played the demo myself, and I liked it. Not necessarily loved but I was gripped, confused and impressed. It's definitely a game I want now, but the timing as to "when" I want it needs to be thought about. I'm more than sure it'll give me a heart attack (of sorts) so er... yeah.
 
YAY! we just got it in at work and a friend has just dropped a rental off to me -love free rentals and having them early- I can't wait to play it -stupid 226MB update lol-

I'm hoping the HMV get mine to me tommorow. I love getting **** early.
 
Got it today 8)

Have tonnes of work to do though, so probably can't play it tonight... =/


I've just found out the the Heavy Rain OST will not be available for download until the 5th of March. Sony advised you do not use your Redeem Codes until then, but if you do, you'll need to contact them after March 5th to get a new one that will allow you to get the DLC.

Hope that information is of use to some.
 
i played it for quite a while yesterday i must say i love it.

Friend described it as depressing which is slightly is, quite sad at some point that i got to.

the controls are pretty simple which i like, i love the action sequences it can be pretty fast paced at some time.

I won't say to much i don't want to spoil the story but any one that is buying it won't be dissapointed
 
I haven't played that much yet, or really anything at all. I intend to play a lot more today though. Very interesting so far anyway.

EDIT: Oh, btw, I'm so loving this game.
