I noticed the other day that there was nothing list in coming soon, so I sent them this email

Subject : Anime - blu-ray - coming soon
Message : Hi, I just wanted to ask why there are no coming soon titles in the anime - blu-ray section? I know there are some coming soon as they are on Amazons website. Is this an error or are you not going to stock new anime blu-ray items anymore?

This was the reply I got:

We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing difficulties with the Play.com website.

At present we don't currently offer as part of our website, I have passed the details of your feedback/suggestion over to our website department to see if we can accomodate your request in any future updates to our website.

Doesn't really answer my question properly but would seem since I can't find any coming soon blu-ray releases on there website, that they might have stopped selling them, a little bit worrying if you ask me.

I've noticed this as well, they don't have any forth coming titles like Codes Geass or Tiger and Bunny.

Saying that though Play isn't the only place I have noticed it, Zavvi has no new titles that are coming out listed either, seems Amazon is the only place that seems to be doing them that I have noticed

OK that would explain why play have none listed but Zavvi doesn't have any listed either
Same with The Hut, which owns Zavvi. They might be planning to scrap their home entertainment section and focus on... umm... whatever else it is they sell :p

Stunned about play, think HMV will be next (stores), website might last a bit longer though.

Amazon should be ok, they've got their more to offer, u can get pretty much anything from there.

I think HMV have been in trouble for a while now, it'd not surprise me if they go.

Amazon do everything and are online, which is the future, they'll be fine.
